ESPORG Member Andamur hosted the third International Women and the Transport Sector Forum in Málaga, Spain on February 20th.
The iconic Automobile Museum of Málaga was the venue for an event that inspires change and promotes gender equity. During this gathering, just like in its successful previous editions, the key role of women in a historically male-dominated sector was highlighted, placing the importance of equal opportunities at the center of the discussion. The event hosted the first edition of the WOW Awards and featured the participation of influential women and leaders in the sector. These awards gave visibility and recognition to the women who are making a difference.

The agenda included presentations by prominent women within the transport sector as well as a round table discussion with female professional truck drivers and the first edition of the WOW Awards (Women on the Way). The WOW Awards, granted by Andamur as part of its WOW commitment to gender equality in the transport sector, are an initiative aimed at recognizing and highlighting the talent, effort, and innovation of women in a traditionally male-dominated field. Through these awards, Andamur reaffirms its commitment to equal opportunities, promoting a cultural shift that facilitates the active participation of women at all levels of the transport sector.
