ESPORG member Hesbymazout is deploying a new Gold Level SSTPA in Remicourt, Wallonia Belgium
The project is promoted by Hesbymazout, a company belonging to Uhoda group and an active member of ESPORG.
By leveraging its expertise and industry involvement, Hesbymazout is committed to delivering a state-of-the-art Safe and Secure Truck Parking Area (SSTPA) in Remicourt, Wallonia (Belgium).
The initiative, that benefits from the EU CEF co-funding, contributes directly to the improvement of transport infrastructure and working conditions for drivers, while also supporting broader European mobility and safety goals.
The overall objective of the project is to enhance the transport infrastructure in Wallonia by providing a safe, secure, and high-quality truck parking facility in a strategic location, directly along the North Sea – Rhine – Mediterranean TEN-T Corridor.
This new SSTPA will:
- Increase the capacity of safe and secure truck parking areas in Belgium, particularly in Wallonia;
- Improve security and working conditions for Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) drivers;
- Enhance cargo security and reduce incidents of cargo theft and attacks;
- Strengthen the logistics chain by providing planning reliability to transport operators;
- Support decongestion of local infrastructure and promote multimodal transport.
Upon completion, the Remicourt SSTPA will be certified at Gold level according to the EU-Parking Standard, meeting the highest standards for security, connectivity, and driver comfort.
